The TRI-POWER design of the STR EI series offers three magnifications in one stereo microscope. Switch between 10X, 20X, and 40X with a seamless click-stop motion. Individual or simultaneous top and bottom LED illumination is provided. The aforementioned feature and the 10X widefield eyepieces produce quality images.

Magnification

• 1X, 2X, and 4X magnification Optical System
• The widefield eyepieces are 45° inclined, with diopter adjustment. Interpupillary adjustment is 55 to 75 mm.
• Diopter-locked eyepiece tubes for increased focusing acuity.
• Objectives are parfocal, parcenter, and achromatic.
• Magnification changed by rotating the objective turret to the positive click-stop. Lighting
• LED illumination provides bright, white light with virtually no heat.
• The top light adjusts for optimal illumination angles.
• Variable trans-base illumination allows the user to control brightness.
• Dual illumination switches allow for three light settings.

Focusing

• Geared focus with slip clutch and tension adjustment.
• The “slip clutch” system prevents users from damaging the focusing mechanism.

Stage

• 60 mm reversible black/white plastic contrast plate and 60 mm frosted glass stage plate.
• Blue filter for transmitted light.
• Locking stage clips.

Frame

• Heavy-duty die-cast metal frame.
